"Patriotism?" - my entry in the Powell Garden's (Kansas City, MO) 'Big Jack' o-lantern carving contest. Technically this isn't a 'tried & true' pattern as the carbon didn't transfer to the pumpkin (100 lb Big Jack) during pattern tracing so I had to free-hand the pattern. But it was free-handed from the B/W pattern shown so I guess this is a tried & true pattern. The red 'grid markers' were added since I printed the pattern across multiple 8x10" pages to make it big enough for the 100 lb pumpkin.
